Marie-Jo Thum has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Duquesne University and a Master's degree in Early Childhood from Florida Atlantic University. She is a published composer, recording artist, and music clinician. Her educational career has spanned pre-school through college with many teaching awards. At present, she enjoys teaching piano privately. But most of all, she and "Charlie" (her guitar) love to smile and sing with people of all ages. She is an advocate of family and community music-making for the joy of it!

Debbie has been a Music Together^®® mom for four years and has delighted in the joy and growth that Music Together has brought her children and the rest of her family. She has a M.S. in Elementary Education and loves teaching young children. After experiencing Music Together with her children in New York and now in Boca Raton, she is proud to become director of Music Makers of Boca, LLC to bring the joy of music into the hearts and lives of many more children and their families. She has a dancing and musical background starting at a young age and is excited to expand her musical experiences through Music Together.
